Dear Art Lovers
2 years ago I initiated Jalal’s Art Trip, which was my personal way to contribute to the development of art in Abu Dhabi. The trip was designed to give the opportunity to a few art lovers who have been in need of a little push and encouragement to cross that line to having their first art exhibition.
The Details;
Take 10-15 upcoming artists on a trip to a location or two that would ignite inspiration, after which we would return to Ghaf Gallery, where for the next 6 weeks, we would work on creation of artworks inspired by the trip.
Workshops on all aspects of art and preparation for an art exhibition are conducted; guest artists are occasionally invited to share their experience with the participants.
Once all the paintings are completed and ready, they would all feature in a dedicated art exhibition that usually takes place in April at Ghaf Art Gallery.
I will sustain all expenses for the trip, and the exhibition, however the participants are responsible for all materials, printing of artwork and framing.
RULES:
1- The trip is open to all nationalities. Female or Male.
2- This trip is specifically for non-professional, non-established artists, established professionals, or applicants who have had an exhibition before or have been professionals in the art field will not be selected.
3- Since there is very limited space, a brief description accompanied by samples of work is to be submitted to Ghaf Art Gallery, ghafgallery@gmail.com, subject: Jalal's Art Trip. Emails with no samples will not be considered.
4- Only paintings inspired by the trip will be exhibited, older or unrelated paintings will not be accepted or exhibited.
5- The trip is intended only for non exhibited/non professional artists.

All joining the trip are required to sign a liability release form before commencing on the trip.
