THE CONTEMPORARY ART SHOW - (SEASON 1) WINTER 2008
" The Contemporary Art Show is a serial exhibition that will take place once a month, for five days" It will host the work of one artist each time, and will be open for public" The selection of work/artists to be exhibited will follow two basic criteria: only middle eastern (oriental) artists and only contemporary art" The art to be exhibited will vary from painting, to sculpture, to photography, to installation-art created using all kinds of techniques, tools, material and media falling under the classification of contemporary art
" The Contemporary Art Show aims at offering the UAE nationals and residents the opportunity to first-hand-experience world-class, contemporary art and interact with the young yet established artists behind the art. The Contemporary Art Show will be a many successful source of inspiration for all art fans." To boost the Abu Dhabi cultural scene with 9 world-class exhibitions annually supporting the efforts of the Abu Dhabi government in positioning the capital as a cultural hub and center" To engage and encourage the public and corporate sector in supporting cultural activities through an excellent CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) tool, thus nurturing the concept of Good Corporate Citizenship
